WHY BIG FISH?
For us, the name Big Fish is aspirational and ironic. We started small but have never lacked in our boldness. Even when we were a company of few, we also thought and dreamt big. Big characters. Big stories. Big ratings. BIG FISH.
CEO and Executive Producer
Founded in 2006, the production shingle focused on visually driven non-fiction programming that captures extraordinary worlds and characters using a strong narrative charge. The mantra: “Expect the unexpected.”
Since the launch, Cesareo has followed the chase for the land speed record on the sweltering Bonneville Salt Flats, baked cupcakes for the troops at the Pentagon, and roared down Route 1 with the Hells Angels. Today, he oversees Big Fish’s robust development and production slate.
Prior to Big Fish Entertainment, Cesareo worked for National Geographic Television and Film where he developed and produced a variety of programs and films including the Lockdown series, Explorer Violent Earth, and Maya Murder Mystery.
Before joining National Geographic, Cesareo served as a freelance producer for clients such as Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, and Voom HD networks. An avid surfer, you can find Cesareo scouring the planet for the perfect wave when he’s not at home with his wife and two children in Montclair, NJ.
